Everyone’s wondering if this photo of Miley Cyrus with Obama is real

Is Miley Cyrus trolling her own fans?

The photo is barely two days old, but it’s already garnered almost two million likes on Instagram: Miley Cyrus, in a bikini and tracksuit bottoms, strolls alongside Barack Obama in a black tracksuit and baseball cap. ‘I never post pap photos but uh…’ Miley says in the caption.

I never post pap photos but uh …… @barackobama

Plenty of her fans seemed convinced that the photo was real: ‘What were you doing together?’ and ‘Love it!’ were just two of the hundreds of comments left by Miley’s army of Instagram followers.

Others, perhaps more suspicious by nature, suggested that the image was the work of photoshop. If we look a little closer at the photo, this theory would seem to be proved true. A watermark can be seen just to the right of Obama: @aligutyedits.

So, no. Sadly it doesn’t look like Miley’s pic is real. But one thing nobody can deny is that the singer has a real gift for trolling her legions of fans and followers… not to mention half the internet.
