Kim Kardashian got ‘mommy-shamed’, so she clapped back in the most Kim way

Don’t try and shame Kim Kardashian…

If you’re as famous as Kim Kardashian, you can’t do anything without the keyboard warriors noticing.

The reality star was ’mommy-shamed’ online after she shared an adorable photograph of her 20-month-old son Saint West back in June. Kim posted an image of the boy on Facebook, showing him sitting in the backseat of a vehicle in a child’s car seat.

Strong opinions and criticism started pouring in from Kim’s followers, who expressed their anger and ‘concern’ that Saint, who is under two years old, was not sat in a rear-facing car seat. Comments underneath the Facebook post show an army of mothers who want to tell the A-lister that her parenting skills are subpar.

Well, Kim wasn’t taking it lying down. She clapped back with a video defending her decision to use a front-facing seat for her son. Kim points out that although Saint isn’t the recommended age for this kind of car seat, he is the correct height and weight to meet legal requirements.

‘What people didn’t know is that Saint is now the weight and the height requirement to sit forward-facing,’ Kim said. ‘Saint actually weighs more than North, if that is believable. He does, and it is wild.’

And, to back-up the mum-of-two’s assertions, Californian law dictates that children under two must be in a rear-facing seat unless they weigh more than 40 pounds or are more than 40 inches tall.

So, please, can she live?
